Are you a caregiver between the ages of 15-25?
Join us on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 pm for a secure online support group dedicated to Young Caregivers.
Young caregivers or carers are children, youth and young adults (under age 24) who provide care for a sibling, parent or grandparent. They are often a hidden and at-risk-group of caregivers, helping a family member with a chronic illness, disability (physical or intellectual), mental health, addiction, or socioeconomic factor (single parent family, language barrier, etc.).
Please join this Young Caregiver Online Support Group created by the Ontario Caregiver Organization (OCO) to offset any support groups you may not be able to visit in your community during this time. Discussion will be driven by young caregivers to discuss issues of highest importance to young caregivers caregivers with facilitation by an OCO staff person on Wednesdays from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. EST
Once registered, you will receive more information about how you can join the group for these discussions either by phone or on your personal computer.
****Participants in this group must be between the ages of 15 to 25.
