    Ontario Caregiver Organization: One Point of Contact for Caregivers

    The Ontario Caregiver Organization (OCO) supports caregivers by being their one point of access to information they need.

    Working collaboratively with caregivers, healthcare providers and other organizations, OCO draws on the variety of work currently being done to ease caregiver burnout and improve the caregiving experience.

    OCO programs and services are available, free of charge, to caregivers across the province.

    If you’d like to connect with a caregiver mentor who can offer support, consider joining the Ontario Caregiver Organization’s 1:1 Peer Support Program.

  • Sharing Information for Young Caregivers

    There are approximately a half a million young caregivers (under 25 years of age) in Ontario playing a critical role in supporting a family member. This can have a significant impact on their education, career decisions, social life, and overall mental health. That’s why The Ontario Caregiver Organization, in collaboration with young caregivers, has created a website that offers information and resources dedicated to their unique needs.

    There are over 500,000 young caregivers in Ontario providing emotional support, personal and medical care, help around the house, and more. If this sounds like you, you are not alone. In collaboration with young caregivers, The Ontario Caregiver Organization has developed resources and information that supports your unique needs.
