“Being in a rural area means you may or may not have services for what you need and you’re at the mercy of the system. So, you’re in a rural hospital who may not have neurological specialists in it. If you need memory care or other cancer care, in my case I go to Toronto or Hamilton to seek that specialty service which is a 2-3 hour drive to get there.” – Rural Caregiver
