The Scarborough Health Network (formerly The Scarborough and Rouge Hospital) in partnership with the Alzheimer Society of Toronto and the Ontario Caregiver Organization is organizing a virtual Caregiver Education Forum on Friday, October 20, 2022, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The event has been very well attended over the last couple of years by caregivers of individuals living with dementia as well as healthcare providers. Our goal is to provide education and help caregivers access resources and supports in the community. The theme of this year’s event is “Supporting Working Caregivers of People Living with Dementia”.
For this year’s event, we will have speakers presenting on topics that relate to working caregiver, so that caregivers can have tools to support their own wellbeing while balancing work and caregiver.
