Sarah is a retired healthcare professional & spousal caregiver. Before retiring to be a full-time caregiver, Sarah managed a medical forensic program, led change projects, focusing on caregiver inclusion in healthcare, new mental health programs & community strategic alliances. Currently, she spends time writing about the health impact of caregiving with a special interest in posttraumatic stress disorder. Together with Donna Thomson, Sarah will reflect on her personal story of pandemic caregiving amidst a home care staffing crisis. How can families access support when there are no home care workers to fill shifts?
