Options for Care by Alzheimer Society of Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington

A three part series for Care partners of people living with dementia, who are at or approaching a stage when more supports are needed at home or long-term care is being considered. The series is designed to be delivered over three weeks.

SEPTEMBER 14
When care needs are increasing: Take some time to think about the changes that are happening and what that means for the person living with dementia and for you as their care giver. We will look at what supports might help you in your home.

SEPTEMBER 21 Long-Term Care Decisions: We’ll discuss what you should consider when looking at long-term care homes.

SEPTEMBER 28 Transitioning Care Roles: Learn about transitioning to long-term care and how you can make it more successful for you and the person living with dementia.
