Join us for a practical and interactive drop-in event designed to provide family caregivers with the basic skills to assist with moving and transferring. Caregivers will also have the opportunity to learn from other caregivers, and view and test out a variety of assistive devices and mobility equipment.
During this hands-on session, you will learn proper body mechanics and generalized strategies to prevent injuries while assisting someone with mobility challenges. Our experienced instructors will guide you through a variety of options, allowing you to practice and refine your skills in a supportive environment.
