There are 3.3. million caregivers in Ontario – ordinary people who provide physical and emotional support to a family member, partner, friend or neighbour, without pay. While many caregivers find this role to be rewarding, the majority find the overall management of caregiving stressful.
The Ontario Caregiver Organization (OCO) exists to improve the lives of Ontario’s caregivers. We support caregivers by being their one point of access to information, so they have what they need to be successful in their role.
In this session, participants will learn about:
• OCO’s programs and services to support caregivers
• strategies and resources to help you take care of yourself while caring for another person
