Nicole Brown brings more than 20 years of experience in Canada’s digital health sector, spanning both government and private industry. Based in Northwestern Ontario, she has spent her career working to modernize how health information moves across the system — leading digital transformation, eReferral and central intake initiatives, and regional health system coordination that connects providers, hospitals, and Ontario Health across a vast and often underserved geography.

Nicole is CEO at FSET Inc., a Kenora-based technology and managed services firm, where she leads healthcare project delivery and organizational strategy. Her work reflects a consistent focus on equitable access to care for rural, remote, and Indigenous communities in the North, ensuring that the systems shaping patient care account for the realities of the people who depend on them.

Her commitment to caregiving is also personal. Nicole served as a primary caregiver for both her mother and her mother-in-law through their cancer journeys, an experience that continues to inform her understanding of what patients and families navigate and why the systems behind their care matter so deeply.

Beyond her professional work, Nicole is an active contributor to her community, including a longstanding role supporting competitive swimming in Kenora.
