DESCRIPTION:Supporting Seniors: Caregiver Care is a program which benefits\nanyone who needs help understanding and coping with the stress of\ncaring for people who are experiencing Dementia\, Alzheimer’s\, or\nage-related illness.\nWe are offering a video-based caregiver support program that helps\nfamily caregivers get a handle on their anger\, stop feeling guilty\, deal\nwith depression\, cope with grief\, and manage dementia-related\nchallenging behaviours.\nIt’s unique in that it uses humour and storytelling to coach people\nthrough a process that helps them develop a plan for self-care in order\nto avoid caregiver burnout.\nThis program is based on materials by CaregiverHelp. It is being hosted by Reconnect Community Services in collaboration with the North Western Toronto Ontario Health Team. \n10 Sessions Total (In-Person)\n2115 Finch Ave. W.
