DESCRIPTION:This month\, we are pleased to announce we will be joined by Microboards Ontario! A Microboard is a group of family and friends who join with a person with a disability to create a not-for-profit corporation. That non-profit has one purpose: to support the person in making decisions that helps them enjoy a full life in community\, throughout their life. Microboards play an important part in supporting person-directed values and providing a safe\, sustainable option that reduces pressure on families/caregivers\, agencies and government. \nIn this webcast we will hear from Karen Bell\, the Executive Director of Microboards Ontario and Xavier Noordermeer\, the former Executive Director of CL Windsor to learn if a Microboard is the right fit for your family.
