SUMMARY:Caregiver Strategies Program by Age Friendly London
DESCRIPTION:This educational program was developed for family and friend caregivers who are caring for and supporting a senior living with frailty. The online course covers the following topics: Caring for the caregiver\, Pain\, Staying active\, Nutrition\, Bladder health\, Medication management\, Changes in thinking\, and Social engagement. \nThis free program runs for six weeks starting the week of October 18th. \nParticipants are asked to attend weekly group sessions on Zoom to connect with other caregivers in a facilitated group discussion. \nGroup Zoom sessions are Thursdays\, 7 pm – 8 pm\, starting on Thurs October 21st. \nPLEASE NOTE: This program is geared towards residents of London/Middlesex\, but participants from other regions may be accepted\, depending on available space.
