SUMMARY:Paula DeRonde Caregiver Insights Series: Love and Sacrifice
DESCRIPTION:In our first session\, Paula will explore the roller coaster terrain of the caregiving journey. Fuelled by love\, we learn to sacrifice our own needs for the happiness of our loved one. This leads to greater fulfillment and a deep happiness. Discussion topics will include: \n\nRealizing that self-care is living for two\nExpressive empathy\nKnowing it’s okay to be angry\nRecognizing that you cannot pour from an empty cup\n\nJoin us as we realize that love with sacrifice is an antidote to fear. \nThis workshop is open to caregivers as well as health care providers that support family caregivers in their work.
