April 19, 2023 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Being a caregiver can come with some BIG feelings. It’s important you take care of yourself, so you can take care of others. Join us for a workshop designed just for caregivers. The workshop will be facilitated by Marcia Buhler, a Registered Psychologist. She will address the importance of self-care and strategies to identify compassion fatigue and burnout and their symptoms. She will also go over some research-based self-care strategies. This will be an interactive workshop with opportunities for discussion with the presenter and other attendees.

At the end of this session, you will be able to:
  • Recognize compassion fatigue, burnout, and their symptoms
  • Discuss evidence-based self-care strategies
  • Develop skills to cope with compassion fatigue and burnout
